The Dallas Eats Guide

As you probably already know, I am a Dallas native. I love to eat out, and being part of a big family, eating out is always the best option for us. I have so many favorite restaurants that not everyone knows about and I am so excited to share them with you all today.

Honor Bar— located in Highland Park Village (a staple!) with amazing salads, deviled eggs, bread pudding, and fantastic lemon meringue pie. Sitting on the patio is always so relaxing, it has a great atmosphere.

Sachet— located on Oak Lawn with amazing and unique food (the pasta and meze dishes are to die for!) The music is fun, the food is great, and the restaurant is always lively.

Dolce Riviera— located near downtown and has the tastiest Italian food you will ever have in your life!! The atmosphere is so chill and fresh. If you want a modern Italian restaurant with some delicious food, then this is your place!

Saint Ann— located near downtown right next to Dolce Riviera is this fantastic American restaurant with great salads, steak, and warm brownie sundae. The restaurant has such a good vibe!!

Origin Kitchen and Bar— located in the Knox-Henderson area is my absolute favorite restaurant. This healthy American-type restaurant has the best brussel sprout salad, chicken nachos, avocado oil fries, and chocolate chia seed mousse. If you are lactose intolerant, gluten-free, paleo, etc. this place is perfect!

Little Katana— located in the Knox-Henderson area near Origin Kitchen and Bar is the best Japanese place in Dallas (in my opinion!) This restaurant is known for their wagyu beef hot rock appetizer, rice hot stone bowl with spicy sriracha, and mochi.

Javier’s— located in the Knox-Henderson area is one of the classic restaurants of Dallas. This is my all time fave Mexican restaurant. Some of my favorite dishes are the warm butter salsa and chips appetizer, the smoked chicken, and flan.

Town Hearth— located in the Design District and has the best atmosphere with a truck submarine in the middle of the restaurant for all to see and has the best mac n’ cheese, filet mignon, and rocky-road ice cream cake.

Il Bracco— located in University Park in Preston Center is this amazing casual Italian restaurant. I love their pesto crusted salmon, homemade focaccia bread, spicy gemelli pasta, and pana cotta. This restaurant has an open, airy, and coastal atmosphere.
