As you probably already know, I am a Dallas native. I love to eat out, and being part of a big family, eating out is always the best option for us. I have so many favorite restaurants that not everyone knows about and I am so excited to share them with you all today.
Honor Bar— located in Highland Park Village (a staple!) with amazing salads, deviled eggs, bread pudding, and fantastic lemon meringue pie. Sitting on the patio is always so relaxing, it has a great atmosphere.
R+D Kitchen β their veggie sushi roll and chicken sandwich are must-haves
Vidorra β the best birria tacos and fish bowls π
Sachet— located on Oak Lawn with amazing and unique food (the pasta and meze dishes are to die for!) The music is fun, the food is great, and the restaurant is always lively.
Dolce Riviera— located near downtown and has the tastiest Italian food you will ever have in your life!! The atmosphere is so chill and fresh. If you want a modern Italian restaurant with some delicious food, then this is your place!
Saint Ann— located near downtown right next to Dolce Riviera is this fantastic American restaurant with great salads, steak, and warm brownie sundae. The restaurant has such a good vibe!!
Origin Kitchen and Bar— located in the Knox-Henderson area is my absolute favorite restaurant. This healthy American-type restaurant has the best brussel sprout salad, chicken nachos, avocado oil fries, and chocolate chia seed mousse. If you are lactose intolerant, gluten-free, paleo, etc. this place is perfect!
Little Katana— located in the Knox-Henderson area near Origin Kitchen and Bar is the best Japanese place in Dallas (in my opinion!) This restaurant is known for their wagyu beef hot rock appetizer, rice hot stone bowl with spicy sriracha, and mochi.
Javier’s— located in the Knox-Henderson area is one of the classic restaurants of Dallas. This is my all time fave Mexican restaurant. Some of my favorite dishes are the warm butter salsa and chips appetizer, the smoked chicken, and flan.
Town Hearth— located in the Design District and has the best atmosphere with a truck submarine in the middle of the restaurant for all to see and has the best mac n’ cheese, filet mignon, and rocky-road ice cream cake.
Il Bracco— located in University Park in Preston Center is this amazing casual Italian restaurant. I love their pesto crusted salmon, homemade focaccia bread, spicy gemelli pasta, and pana cotta. This restaurant has an open, airy, and coastal atmosphere.

Greenville Avenue Pizza Company— located on Greenville Avenue is the BEST pizza place hands down!! I love their garlic knots, homemade ranch, and basil pesto cheese pizza. This is the best place for a chill Saturday night at home.
Up On Knoxβ love this place for brunch or din, they have the chia seed pudding and cajun chicken
La Duniβ great brunch spot for the most amazing and extensive coffee bar menu, my fave is the vaca blanca
Le Bilboquetβ my all time favorite restaurant, loveee the cajun chicken
Shinseiβ best asian fusion restaurant with amazing halibut, brussel sprouts, and fried rice
True Food Kitchenβ ultimate health food spot, they have great pizza, crudite, and turkey burgers
Southpawsβ love this hole in the wall with great bowls and smoothies

La La Land Kind Cafeβ great lunch or brunch spot with amazing toasts
Dive Coastal Cuisineβ yummy salads and sandwiches
Simply Fondueβ such a fun thing to do for dinner on a date with great food, more expensive than the Melting Pot
SusieCakesβ love their confetti cake, cupcakes, and lemon bars
Joy Macarons— located near Greenville Avenue is the best macarons place ever!! They are even better than the famous LadurΓ©e macarons. These macarons are so creamy and delicious, I always get a fruity pebble macaron sandwich or the almond macarons.
Chocolate Secrets— located on Oak Lawn is this amazing chocolate truffle and ice cream shop with live jazz music on certain nights. I always get the hot chocolate, hazelnut truffles, and turtles!
